Welcome to the View Gallery

Opened in January 2024, the gallery aims to support emerging and established artists from across the UK. We provide an intimate space where visitors can view and purchase contemporary art in a range of styles and mediums. We hope to create a warm welcome for everyone, inviting visitors to view a variety of artistic creations, whether you’re in the market to buy something new, or would just like a beautiful space to contemplate the works on display.

Visiting Us

We are open Tuesday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm, or by appointment outside of these hours.

The View Gallery is located in Royal Wootton Bassett, opposite the historic town hall. We can be found on the first floor of 144 High Street, with a large customer car park at the rear of the building and a lift from the ground floor to allow for easy access for all our visitors. We also have a beautiful terrace where visitors can admire and contemplate the surrounding Wiltshire countryside.

We host regularly changing exhibitions on a range of themes and hold complementary events in the space, including talks on art history, wine tasting evenings and floristry classes.

Not just a gallery…

As well as the View Gallery on the first floor, we share the building with RWB Auction House and Quercus Bistro, both of which can be found on the ground floor.
